VOLUNTEERING

Picture
How can you help the Wekiva High School Marching Mustangs?

We need you to help make your child's experience a fun and rewarding time with the Wekiva Marching Mustangs. There are many opportunities to help and they range from helping concessions at home games and chaperoning events to hemming uniforms and fixing equipment.  Some must be done at the high school or competitions and others can be done from home.  The added bonus is that you get to make new, adult friends with some very wonderful people who share some of the same passions you do - you kids.

If you are interested in helping the band in some way, please fill out the form below and a band parent will contact you to see how you can contribute to your kids' time with the band. And don't forget, volunteering can help you lessen the cost of your child's band dues as well.  We hope to see you soon!  Thank you for your consideration.
Volunteer Form
Thank you for expressing interest in volunteering.  A band parent will be contacting you shortly to figure out how you can help the band. All volunteers must be Orange County approved volunteers.  Please fill in the form below and fill out Orange County's Additions School Volunteer Application now...

OCPS VOLUNTEER

Changes to This Year's Registration

This year OCPS is requiring all students to get a physical and ECG prior to being able to participate in the band.  Please note that this information must be uploaded by a parent or guardian to the OCPS approved website and must be cleared by the Athletic Department of the school.  Below is a button which provide instructions for the band process.  If your student is planning on doing athletics in addition to band, you can do one submission through this process.  However, they will be required to submit additional information (specific to the sport) which the website will indicate. In order to avoid having to repeat this entire submission for other sports, please make sure they select all sports (and the band program) they plan on participating in next year.  If they only intend on participating in the band program, they are only required to submit the participation agreement, physical form and ECG results.  We have also provided a button link to the upload website where the parents/guardians create an account and upload the required documents.  You may have multiple students linked to each parent/guardian.  Thank You!

Band Parent Shirts

Parents, it's that time of year where we take orders for band parent/family shirts.  We are looking to order the following shirts ASAP so the ordering timeline is short.  I will be ordering them within the next 2 weeks so we can have the shirts for homecoming.  These shirts are for anyone in the family that wants a shirt.  Please fill out the following form and I will send you a link to pay for the shirt.  Thank You!

    Band Parent Shirt Order Form

Fill out the fields below if you selected another individual other than yourself or your child to pick up the shirt.  Please note that Wekiva Band Parents are not responsible for you receiving the shirt if you choose to have your child or another individual pick up the item.  We cannot guarantee that the individual that receives the shirt will deliver it.
When you select "Submit", the Wekiva Band Parents will send you a link to pay the fee for the shirt on.  Please make sure to check junk and spam folders if you don't see it in your regular email folder.
